Rebecca Patel-Nakamura joined Verizon Business in 2016 after the unification conversations that would eventually produce the modern Verizon Business brand were already under way. Her work through the 2020 rebrand covered the migration of dozens of enterprise Verizon Wireless Business accounts into the unified Verizon Business portal without disrupting account numbers, device lines or billing continuity for the customer.
Her prior career sits squarely inside US commercial telecom. At Sprint Business Solutions (2012–2016) she carried a named enterprise book focused on retail chains and logistics fleets. At AT&T Business (2009–2012) she worked as a network engineer on MPLS, Ethernet and early LTE commercial deployments. That engineering grounding is why the Verizon Business Enterprise Account Solutions team she leads today carries technical depth alongside commercial execution.
Her preferred engagement model is the quarterly business review — a structured session pulling together the Verizon Business account team, the customer’s network and finance leadership, and the relevant solution specialists to translate the coming 90 days of activity into a single accepted plan.
